Andina

Andina is an upscale Peruvian restaurant, popular for fancy date nights. Ask for the separate vegan/vegetarian menu, which is completely vegetarian, and notes items that can be made vegan upon request.  There’s also a gluten-free menu, so feel free to ask for both and cross-reference, or just ask your server for suggestions. Either way, you’re covered.

Sample vegetarian entrees:

  • Wild mountain mushrooms wok-fried with onions, tomatoes, soy sauce, garlic, and ají, served with Yukon Gold “papas fritas” and garlic rice, $19
  • Quinoa “risotto” with Grana Padano cheese, golden beets, local mushrooms and market fresh vegetables, laced with truffle oil, $19

Or, choose a selection of tapas, salads, or tasty stuffed things. (None the latter, rellenos, are available vegan, as they’re all stuffed with cheese.)
