Pok Pok

When you taste Pok Pok’s khao soi, you won’t be upset that it’s the only thing you can eat other than salad. Vegetarian and vegan items are noted on menu, no substitutions. This place is Serious. Be prepared to wait.

I’ve only been there once, for a birthday dinner in a snowstorm, and the place was almost empty. So, if you want to walk in, wait until there’s a foot of snow on the ground. Otherwise, you may be waiting for a while at Whiskey Soda Lounge across the street. That’s not a bad thing. There are also plenty of great restaurants on this SE Division strip if the wait is just too long.

Pok Pok Noi offers counter serviceĀ and take-out with a more limited menu on NE Prescott. You can also get take out from the original location’s “shack,” an early food cart, by calling ahead and picking it up in front.

Most items naturally gluten-free, but ask for an ingredient list if needed.
